We exist as a church to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to serve you in His Name. Let us know how we can come alongside you during a time of need. The following ministries provide a good place to start.
Bereavement | Counseling | Hospital Visits | Emergency Phone | Prayer | Baptisms | Membership
Life is filled with transitions. Our desire as a church is to serve during times of loss. We are available to help guide you through difficult days. Please contact Pastor Steve.
Congregational Care… Counseling
Pastoral counseling is available to those in our church family and is usually reserved for those dealing with spiritual needs, questions or emergency situations. Please call the office between 9:00-4:00 pm, Monday through Friday to set up an appointment (740-383-6021)
Congregational Care…Hospital Visits
Pastors are available to minister to those within our church family who are facing a serious illness or hospitalization. Information about those who are ill can be shared on a communication card or by calling the church office during the week (740-383-6021).
In an Emergency situation during non-office hours the pastors can be reached by calling the Emergency Phone: (740-802-7606)
Maybe it's because prayer is one of the most practical ways we can support one another that the Bible encourages us to pray continually. If you are not part of a group in the church where people can pray for you, below are groups of people who will count it a privilege to support you in this way. Please e-mail your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org
The first Sunday of each month at 5:00pm we meet to pray together for the needs of our church and community.
Saturday Morning 10:30-11:30 Come pray for those going out to minister with Adopt-a-Block. Contact Pastor Steve deWeber at email@example.com if interested.
We believe that baptism is the public display of a private commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and we offer regular opportunities for baptism as part of the life of our church. Baptism is regularly scheduled during our worship services. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 740-383-6021.
Becoming a member of our church is simple. It begins with taking our Alpha Class and then coming to a 90 minute membership class to learn about MFCN, our vision for the future, the Church of the Nazarene, and where you can partner with us as we reach Marion for Jesus Christ. Contact Pastor Matt for information and to register for the next class or call the church office at 740-383-6021. Please include your address, email and phone number when registering.
